IBE's engineers take active roles on project teams throughout the schematic design, design development, and construction document phases of each project to ensure that they are an integral part of the team, adding value to all phases of the design and construction process.

Having considerable individual and combined experience in the design of large and complex projects, IBE has completed more than 300 projects since being founded in 1999 and has more than 100 projects currently active. The firm has been involved in a vast array of project types, including entertainment facilities, museums, libraries, laboratories, film archives, educational facilities, retail and office buildings, and housing projects. Operating throughout the United States and internationally, IBE employs 66 people and is based in Sherman Oaks, California with an office in Paris, France.
